Fall schedules just don't get easy.
I am still a little hesitant with the bizarre activities on last nights track and we have had tons of rain here overnight and today.
Closers are getting stiffed on a closers track and early speed is carrying fairly well.
And once all that drivel is out in the open, my picks go as follows........

Magic man should come thru again this week. Hopefully the outside post takes some attraction from him and we get value.

***** Treasure Hunt will be on my mind for just under 2 full minutes. I suspect he will be off at about 15-1 or more as he MOVES UP tonight. He is damn strong but I don't knowwhat to expect. I think he'll either rip it up or run quietly. I'll have $5 on him to place as a "hedge bet."

This is a tough one. We have droppers meeting climbers and all successful in their own right.

**Supermatturel is in this group tonight. SO is "Hewillbeastar". the first is a real tough horse and the second ran very close to "Playing Field" last time out. I feel good about the winner but the 2nd/3rd holes are sketchy.
ONLY reason I am taking these 2 is because they are able to go to the engine early at a 26 pace - front runners have been ruling.

"HOW" I play these will be more contingent upon odds tonight. I am physically going to the track to watch the local races and the OTB is there as well.
If my "KEY" horse takes chalk, then you have to pay attention to the probable payoffs on exotics
in other words, don't lay out more on a wheel than you will make with a lower odds win.

I know I could likely pick 2 races a day and "pad" my averages; however, this may give some of you a few more winners on a night when you are playing most of the card anyway.
If I hit sub 50% I'll retire

THAT was a humbling evening of major upsets. Nothing ran true. Most races had my horses positioned only to give way. Disturbing.
THAT one cost me money!

racing can be very humbling at times. No worries, enjoy the day off and see ya next week for more Mohawk! When does this meet end?

NEVER.
They run all winter.

What I CAN tell you though is there is usually a "transition". Certain drivers horses are usually getting into "form" this time of the year. I cannot say why ,but it is a bit of a trend. Check the winners from the last week, note some of the prices they paid, and cross reference that to the drivers......you'll get the point. This is nothing different;however it was never as ridiculous as last night.
